Like many other choirs at the moment, we’re currently unfortunately unable to meet, rehearse or perform concerts for you all. But nothing can stop us from singing!
We’re arranging a range of digital activities for people to take part in and enjoy, whether you’re a member of the choir or one of our followers. Find out what we’re up to at the moment below!
Digital Social Evenings
Choir members can enjoy a virtual get-together once a month on a Wednesday night at 7.30pm! Each evening is great fun with quiz questions, fun activities and people making each other jealous with delicious food they’ve made or brought for the occasion.
Choir members will get an email with the details of each digital social but if your email has got lost in the digital ether just drop us a line and we’ll send you the information so you can join in!
Spring Sing
The weather outside might not be as sunny as we’d like, but we’re bringing the spring feeling with a mini celebration of singing! We’ve got three rehearsal tracks for you to have a sing along to at home! If you’d like to record your lines and send them in by the usual means (guidelines at the bottom of the page) then please do, everyone is welcome. For the Beauty of the Earth and Look at the World are in four parts, and What a Wonderful World is a two-part ladies’ arrangement by our musical director Andrew. You can find the sheet music for that below, choir members should already have music for the other two pieces.
We’re also looking for photos or short video clips on the theme of spring, so send in your spring snaps.
Send your recordings and images in by the end of May in time to be included in our next videos!

We’ll Meet Again VE Day Tribute
On Saturday 9th May we should have been celebrating peace at our concert at Central Methodist Church in Dudley. As we were unable to, we produced this video featuring the voices of some of the choir singing the classic tune We’ll Meet Again. The video contains images of the choir celebrating VE Day, as well as images from the 1940s provided by members and followers of the choir. We hope you enjoy it!
We’ll have more digital projects coming soon – stay tuned here or on our Facebook page for more!
Recording guidelines
Want to join in with one of our digital projects? Brilliant! Just follow these guidelines.
Everyone is welcome to sing with us whether you’re a member of the choir or not. To contribute your voice to the project just grab your headphones, your sheet music / lyrics and something to record yourself with and follow these instructions…
1) Plug in your headphones and put them on. It’s important you can hear the track when you’re singing, but we shouldn’t hear it on your recording.
2) Sing along to the track we’ve posted and record yourself!
3) Send the recording to us by email.
4) Look forward to hearing yourself as part of our virtual performance!
Everyone is welcome to contribute to the project by sending in photos that match the project theme! Send any pictures to us by email.
